How the Guided Study Works
This course is designed to be used alongside your AAPC CDEO curriculum. As you complete each chapter in the curriculum, you can watch the corresponding guided study video where Danielle breaks down the key concepts, explains difficult topics in simpler terms, and shares real world examples from provider education and documentation improvement.

After each chapter session, you can complete a short quiz to earn a CEU and track your progress through all 8 chapters.

Frequently asked questions

Are the AAPC study materials included in this course?

No. The CDEO Guided Study course is designed to be used alongside the AAPC CDEO curriculum, so the AAPC study materials are not included in this course. Students should already have access to the AAPC CDEO curriculum before enrolling in the Guided Study.

However, we do have a course for the CDEO Study Guide to be purchased directly through McDE too! CLICK HERE TO VIEW.

How long do I have access to the course?

You will receive six months of access beginning when you purchased the course. Access is not based on a structured timeline and allows you to move through the content at your own pace.

Is this a live or cohort based program?

No. This is an on-demand guided study experience. While the content is structured, you are free to complete it at your own pace during the six month access period.

How is this different from the AAPC course?

This guided study provides chapter by chapter video instruction, explanation of key concepts, and real world examples to help you better understand the material as you work through the AAPC curriculum.

Can this be completed in less than 6 Months?

This course is self-paced. You could complete this in as little as 10 weeks, or less depending on your speed, or longer depending on your availability. You will retain access for the full 6 months, allowing you the time you need to feel confident sitting for the CDEO Exam.
