This course is designed for certified and/or experienced coders, who are looking to enhance the AAPC CRC Study Guide Materials. 

Does this course replace the CRC Study Guide?

No. This guided study is designed to be used in tandem with the official CRC Study Guide. It reinforces, explains, and helps apply the material but does not replace required study materials.

Are the AAPC study materials included in this course?

No. Study materials are not included. We recommend purchasing the CRC exam bundle directly from AAPC for the best pricing. Practicode is optional but recommended for inexperienced coders to work on their speed of chart reviews for the exam and their career.

How long do I have access to the course?

You will receive six months of access beginning when the course officially opens in January 2026. Access is not based on a structured timeline and allows you to move through the content at your own pace.

Can this be completed in less than 6 Months?

This course is self-paced. You could complete this in as little as 10 weeks, or less depending on your speed, or longer depending on your availability. You will retain access for the full 6 months, allowing you the time you need to feel confident sitting for the CRC Exam. 

Is this a live or cohort based program?

No. This is an on-demand guided study experience. While the content is structured, you are free to complete it at your own pace during the six month access period.

Is Practicode required for this course?

Practicode is not required but is strongly recommended for candidates who want additional hands on practice applying CRC concepts.
